At GEICO, we believe in supporting the local communities where our associates live and work. We are honored to partner with G.I.F.T. and provide a donation that will help combat economic disparities in the Greater Kansas City area as we all work toward a brighter future, together.
Regional Public Affairs Coordinator
I have searched Kansas City for an organization that goes beyond "intentional" to directly create economic change to unpack the sins of this city's past. I believe G.I.F.T. has done so simply what so many organizations have failed to do and so many others struggle to do given the history and status quo of systemic and geographic racism in the urban core. G.I.F.T. is a rising star in an effort to align the genius and ingenuity of our Black entrepreneurs with the capital and resources they've not had the privilege of accessing.
Artist & CEO
I earned a degree in urban land economics and then worked in commercial real estate finance and development for over 30 years. I experienced first-hand how latent and blatant racism has influenced land use, tax, and political policies that have favored the suburbs and disadvantaged minorities living in our urban areas. For too long Kansas City has suffered under misguided policies that have created isolated, disadvantaged, and decaying neighborhoods. For Kansas City to fulfill its full potential, all of its citizens need a chance to succeed. That’s why KC Bier Co supports G.I.F.T, because G.I.F.T. invests in people who create jobs that build the foundation for rebuilding our city.

"We were excited to raise money for GIFT because we know our city still feels the effects of redlining and segregation. We want to see businesses East of Troost prosper and provide an opportunity for the growth of generational wealth. GIFT’s goals align with that vision, and we believe they can make a substantial impact."

"We are so grateful to get to partner with Generating Income For Tomorrow as they work to support local Black-owned businesses and invest in low-income communities in Kansas City. This focused work is long overdue and we’re excited to see the impact of their commitment and passion unfold in our city".
"Our main reason for supporting GIFT is that we want to be a part of ending systemic racism that's caused POC to not be allowed to live in certain areas and be put into a situation of poverty and unfairness. We are on a mission of anti racism and we feel what better way than to help develop those areas of KC that have faced this unfair poverty with opportunity for employment, business ownership and prosperity! When I met Brandon we literally were looking for a way to generate income for tomorrow."
