Beard Luv Receives $1K in Pitch Competition After Taking Classes at KC G.I.F.T. Business Center
Growing a business often means learning as you go. For Wilfredo Pujols, the owner of Beard Luv, part of that learning happened inside the KC G.I.F.T. Business Center.
Beard Luv is a Kansas City-based beard-care brand offering handcrafted grooming products. Wilfredo took a marketing class to help clarify Beard Luv's message and reach the right customers. In addition to getting clear on Beard Luv's marketing strategy, that growth also led to the company securing a $1,000 grant through a community pitch competition.
Wilfredo's commitment to continue learning and sharpening his business skills shows what's possible when you put the knowledge gained at the Business Center to work.

Using the Business Center as a Resource
The KC G.I.F.T. Business Center was created to give entrepreneurs access to resources, coaching, and classes needed to grow without adding another expense to their business. The Marketing Strategy Class can help you think more intentionally about how you present your brand, communicate value, and connect with customers or clients.
And for entrepreneurs who consistently find themselves wearing multiple hats at once, having access to structured guidance can help turn playing it by ear into a clear strategy.
Learning While Building
Beard Luv’s growth reflects something we see a lot at the Business Center. A lot of new business owners have great ideas and strong products or services. They just need help strengthening the systems around it. That could mean anything from learning how to market more effectively to improving financial systems or getting legal help. Every class and 1:1 session offered at the Business Center equips business owners with the tools needed to take their business to the next level. Not to mention, our classes make it a whole lot easier to take the step with confidence.
If there is an area of your business you've been trying to figure out on your own, the KC G.IF.T. Business Center is a great place to start.
