For more than a decade, artist and entrepreneur Keliah Smith has used creativity to make everyday moments feel a little more meaningful.
Her brand, Keliah Dyann, is an inclusive paper and gift company rooted in celebration, self-care, hope and wellness. The collection includes cards, stationery, wearable art and thoughtful gifts designed to bring beauty and intention into the moments people want to remember.
That same spirit is at the heart of Keliah Dyann’s partnership with KC G.I.F.T.
“I am excited to partner with KC Gift, a powerful pillar in our community,” Keliah said, pointing to the organization’s impact on local small businesses.
From November 1 through November 19, supporters can donate to KC G.I.F.T. for a chance to win a Keliah Dyann Stationery Gift Bundle featuring a notebook, candle, 8.5x11 unframed art print, thank-you card set, pen and stickers.
For Keliah, the campaign is another opportunity to use her brand to create connection.
“This opportunity is a fun way to bring our brands together and provide joy and a little fun and hope to our audiences,” she said.
That focus on joy also shapes the advice Keliah gives other entrepreneurs: be present.
"Find time for you, time for loved ones," she said. "Laugh! Don't take life too serious. Capture the moments."
Keliah also advises taking necessary breaks no to avoid throwing in the towel later.
"Take the losses, but with your chin up," she said. "And go back to the drawing board and do it again."
