District Biskuits: How $25K Gave a Pop-Up a Permanent Home

KC G.I.F.T. awarded Guroux $25K to expand District Biskuits. The funding allowed the restaurant to transition into a permanent space, increase production capacity, and serve more customers.

Recognized As One of the Best

In 2025, Kansas City Magazine named District Biskuits as one of the 30 best restaurants in town.

In 2026, just four years after opening the first location, District Biskuits opened a second restaurant. You can visit the restaurant at 408 E. 31st St. and 1664 E. 63rd St.
